The Danish Chargé d'Affaires presents his compliments

to the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and has the

honour in conformity with instructions from the King's Governm

ment to call the Karquess Curzon's favourable attention to the

following matter.

Thomas Frederik Petersen, ship engineer, residing at

Fellund near Bay, who has acquired Danish nationality in virtue

of Article 1 of the Danish Law of September 5th 1920 as shown

by the enclosed certificate has applied for the assistance of

the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in obtaining the re-

lease of Dollars 637,39 with sacrued interests from the 1st of

July 1914, which amount was deposit by him in 1914 with the

Hongkong-Shanghai-Saving Bank in Hongkong on passbook No.896.
